His cinematic expertise has led him to work on high-profile productions, including Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as well as acclaimed television series such as Billions, Law & Order: SVU, The Equalizer, and Dear Edward.
As a Director of Photography, Wilson has collaborated with Netflix, Peacock, and major cultural institutions. His credits include Ladies First: Women in Hip-Hop (Netflix) and Kings from Queens: The Run DMC Story (Peacock). His visual storytelling extends to commercial and branded content, working with clients such as TED, Sephora, and Teen Vogue.
In the fine art world, Wilson’s work has been exhibited in institutions and galleries across the U.S. and internationally. His multidisciplinary approach, incorporating photography, printmaking, and sculpture, explores themes of memory, oral history, and back cultural identity. His Relic series—alternative process photography prints utilizing found objects, drawings, and photographs—examines fragmented oral histories within the diaspora. He has received numerous fellowships and grants, including the IFP Made in NY Media Fellowship and an Artist Fellowship Grant for the State of Connecticut, he has been a resident artist at the Vermont Studio Center, Can Serrat in Barcelona, and The Norwalk Artspace for his sculpture and print work.
As a New York City based member of the International Cinematographer’s Guild, he continues to push the boundaries of visual storytelling, blending documentary, narrative, and experimental techniques to create impactful, mission-driven work.
